Sandboarding with Quains

Warning, lots of pictures!

When the Quains came to visit, we had a successful sandboarding outing.  Often, sandboarding is a hit or miss activity.  If there is any wind at all, it makes for a miserable experience.  We know all too well.  Sand dunes also are constantly changing shape.  It is necessary to get a steep slope for sandboarding or it just won't work.

This time was perfect!  What a great looking bunch!

You can go sitting down on the board or standing up.  Standing is a bit of a challenge and can lead to some tougher wipe-outs, but very fun.

Emma is getting ready to go down.

It is very tough coming back up a steep dune.  Here Mo is getting a ride up from Taylor.

This isn't easy.

Even Henry got into the action.

Great pictures keep coming!
