Youth Conference

This last weekend, the youth 14-18 at Church had their annual Youth Conference.  This one was shorter than normal because they will be doing a pioneer trek reenactment later this summer.  They did about 4 miles of hiking while stopping at different stations to learn something about the pioneers.  They learned to wash clothes by hand on a wash board, sew buttons, learned about items the pioneers took as they crossed the plains, sang hymns of faith, learned how to grind wheat and make bread the pioneer way.  The conference concluded with a chili dinner and a devotional about the pioneers.
